JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT KBC
The positions of Junior Youth Leader and Senior Youth Leader are part-time entry level positions for individuals with a keen interest in influencing and nurturing the social and spiritual development of 11-13 or 14-17 year olds. In these mentored roles the successful candidates will be asked to develop and implement strategies and activities for Junior or Senior Youth both at KBC and in the community.
Specific responsibilities include: leading mid week youth meeting, sharing responsibility for Sunday Morning teaching, planning additional group activities, creating a safe environment for youth to seek support, mobilizing volunteers and participating in additional ministries.
The successful candidates will be spiritually mature and will have an affinity for Youth. In addition we are looking for compassionate individuals with excellent communication and listening skills, and who demonstrate creativity with a sense of humour while keeping control of a large group.
